What is a Snippet?

Snippets fit snugly in your palm. They are 2 1/2 oz (76 grams) of luxurious lather, beautiful design, and wonderful scents. Best of all- every Snippet provides funds for local spay & neuter programs, vaccine vouchers, and eventually an emergency care fund through local veterinary clinics to benefit low income and homeless persons.

A minimum 30% of our total sales every year will go to local animal care initiative programs.

Why?

In fall of 2016 I was moved by the story of one of the homeless persons in a nearby town who brought their injured dog into a local veterinary clinic to attempt to get emergency medical care. The clinic could not see the animal, and the man became very upset and ended up being arrested. His dog went to the animal shelter. I started thinking more and more about not only the homeless dilemma, but also about how they can receive medical attention and basic care for their pets.

I have seen low income families and homeless individuals sacrifice greatly to provide care and food for their pets. The bond of companionship with a pet can provides stability and humanity, especially to children, the mentally ill, and isolated people. While these 'homes' may provide enough food, water, and shelter, the cost of even basic veterinary care may be out of reach.
